Bill Chval is Chief Executive Officer of Associated Adjusting, bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership across the insurance, InsureTech, AI, SaaS, and emerging technology industries.

Prior to joining Associated Adjusting, Bill served as Chief Revenue Officer of Openforce, where he led revenue operations across the full customer lifecycle for a workforce-management AI platform. Before that, he was General Manager of EIS Group's Enterprise Business Solutions and Head of P&C, overseeing a global SaaS across North America, Europe, and Japan. He previously led Metromile Insurance EBS as General Manager.

Earlier in his career, Bill held senior executive roles at Snapsheet, Claimforce, SCA, AFNI, and CCC Intelligent Solutions. Across these roles, he has repeatedly turned strategic vision into measurable growth, led M&A transactions, and built high-performing teams in PE-backed and board-accountable environments.

Bill maintains a long-standing commitment to community leadership, serving on the Board of Directors of the Wheatland Athletic Association since 2002 and previously volunteering as a football and softball coach at Benet Academy.

Jimmy Hicks serves as Chief Claims Officer of AAN, a national independent adjusting company known for its commitment to quality, responsiveness, and innovation.

With a strong background in leadership and operations, Jimmy has helped shape AAN into a trusted partner across the insurance industry, focused on delivering results and exceeding expectations in claims handling.

When he's not leading claims teams or tackling strategic challenges, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family and finds peace working outside—especially on a freshly mowed lawn.

As CFO for Associated Adjusting, Mark oversees the finances of the company. He, and the finance team, manage day-to-day accounting, external and internal auditing, budgeting, and modeling to provide senior management with the accurate results and critical insights required to drive the growth of Associated Adjusting.

Mark joined the Associated Adjusting team in March 2025 after more than two decades of Finance and Operations management in retail, distribution, and manufacturing industries. Creating and improving processes and procedures to maximize efficiency, accuracy of reporting and risk management has been a common thread throughout his career.

Mark and his wife, Jill, relocated from Rochester, NY to Knoxville in 2021 and have two grown children that they enjoy traveling to visit as often as they can.

Brandon Flynn is the Chief Operating Officer of Associated Adjusting, where he oversees daily operations, strategic planning, and organizational performance. With a career built on adaptability, leadership, and hands-on experience, Brandon brings a well-rounded perspective to the adjusting industry.

Before stepping into his current role, Brandon held several key positions at AAN, including Field Adjuster, Trainer, and Account Manager. These roles gave him a deep understanding of the claims process and a strong foundation in client service and team leadership.

Prior to entering the insurance industry, Brandon owned Wallace Builders LLC, where he and a close friend Matt who owned Big Sky Construction built over 300 cabins in the Gatlinburg, Tennessee area. His career began as a Field Engineer with Sevier County Electric System, where he gained valuable experience in infrastructure and field operations.

While free time is limited, Brandon enjoys supporting his daughters' passions. He can often be found at the barrel races cheering on his youngest daughter, Hayden, or in the stands watching his oldest daughter, Savannah, play Division I softball for Liberty University.

Brandon's professional journey is rooted in hard work, integrity, and a results-driven mindset—values that continue to guide his leadership today.

With over 24 years of experience, I specialize in navigating the complexities of claims. I’m passionate about turning stressful situations into positive experiences through clear and empathetic communication.

I believe great work comes from great teams, and my motto is: "A good laugh and a clear plan can solve almost anything!" My background in marketing and client relations empowers me to connect with clients effectively, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

When I'm not working, you’ll find me enjoying time with my children, capturing moments through photography, or baking up a storm. Let’s connect and turn challenges into opportunities together!

As the Roster Manager, in most cases I am the first contact adjusters have with Associated Adjusting. I pride myself in ensuring that adjusters have an extremely positive first experience with our company and a smooth onboarding process onto our roster.

I bring to my role 30+ years of experience in Human Resources. In the six years I have been with the company, I have had the honor of meeting and onboarding the best adjusters out there.

I am blessed to be called Mom by a son; super-blessed to be called Nonnie by the most perfect grandson ever and dog mom to two of the best dogs ever. Although I can’t identify any specific hobbies, I try to enjoy all beauty that God created for us in this world—especially the Georgia Bulldogs—Go Dawgs!!

Tyler Lawson is an experienced insurance professional serving as an Associate Account Manager and Claims Training Coordinator. In this dual role, Tyler delivers exceptional customer service by managing client inquiries, resolving claim-related issues, and supporting accurate, efficient claim processing. He collaborates closely with claims adjusters to provide administrative assistance and ensure smooth case handling from start to finish.

As the company’s dedicated trainer, Tyler mentors and coaches new and existing adjusters, tailoring instruction to individual learning needs and fostering continuous professional development. He monitors adjuster progress, offers actionable feedback, and recommends targeted training opportunities to enhance performance and consistency.

Tyler began his career in claims with AAN in 2009 as a daily field adjuster shortly after turning 18. Since then, he has gained extensive experience across daily, catastrophe, and large-loss adjusting, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his current leadership and training responsibilities.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at the lake, and staying active through fitness.
